Challenge:

Volkswagen were eager to highlight the exceptional comfort of their California model, commissioned Performance and Frisson Creative to photograph the product and produce a film which showcased the superior comfort within the vehicle and should  feature renowned sleep expert and UK VW brand ambassador, Sammy Margo.


Approach:

With slightly over a week to prepare, our team collaborated with Performance PR to organize the shoot. This included selecting locations, writing the script, storyboarding, and assembling the production crew. On the day of the shoot, we had a four-hour window to film the main video and capture striking photographs of the VW California in natural settings.


The video featured Sammy Margo sharing her expert tips for achieving a perfect night's sleep, all from the comfort of the VW Campervan. She emphasised the vehicle's unique selling points explaining how its design prioritises comfort and is tailored to ensure users enjoy an ideal sleep experience.

 

Campaign Outcomes:

The project yielded over 200 high-quality still images for press releases and a 90-second video. This video not only showcased the campervan but also included Sammy's expert advice for a perfect night's sleep.

The content was distributed to national media, leading to several successful media features.
